An Independent and Family Owned Pharmacy
Lily's Pharmacy of Johns Creek is a family-owned and operated full-service pharmacy located in Johns Creek, GA, named for owner and pharmacists Jennifer Shannon and her husband Michael's first daughter, Lily. The mission of Lily's Pharmacy of Johns Creek is to be Johns Creek's most trusted neighborhood pharmacy, providing the highest level of pharmaceutical care and personalized service.
It has always been a dream of the Shannon family to open their own pharmacy and provide stellar service and expertise to their community. Pharmacists can improve disease state outcomes through direct patient care, and at Lily's Pharmacy of Johns Creek, we strive to provide personalized healthcare in a family-friendly setting. Dr. Shannon is proud to serve on the Good Neighbor Pharmacy National Advisory Board, the Georgia Pharmacy Association Board of Directors, and the Georgia Pharmacy Association Legislative Committee. Dr. Shannon was recognized as the 2020 Georgia Independent Pharmacist of the Year and the 2020 Woman Pharmacist of the Year!
Lily's Pharmacy was recognized as a 2020 finalists for the national honor of "Good Neighbor Pharmacy of the Year", and locally, we were proud to be selected as the "Best of North Atlanta" Pharmacy of the Year for 3 years in a row: 2020, 2021, and 2022. We believe that these accolades are a reflection of the practice that we have built, and the focus on our patients and community. We truly believe that we provide best in class service, and the commitment to quality and care puts us a step ahead of any of the competition.

We are the preferred pharmacy and local pharmacy provider for Johns Creek Fire Department, Alpharetta Fire Department, Milton Fire Department, and Roswell Fire Department. If you have an emergency in North Fulton, your local EMS providers have you covered with Lily's Pharmacy care!

Meet Our Team
Jennifer Shannon, PharmD, BCPS, and Owner
Dr. Shannon received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA. Prior to pharmacy school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech -- GO HOKIES). Dr. Shannon completed an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited Primary Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Shannon is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and her areas of special interest include anticoagulation, cholesterol, diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension management.
She is the proud mother of five amazing little ones: Lily, Abby, Mikey, Violet, and Ellie and wife to Michael. The family lives in Forsyth County, is active at St. Brendan Catholic Church, and is proud to support the community that we call home!
Kelly Birdwell, PharmD
Dr. Birdwell received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where she was a member of Rho Chi Honor Society and Chi Omega sorority. After 15 years' experience with Walgreens, she has recently joined the Lily Pharmacy family as a staff pharmacist. Dr. Birdwell is a licensed pharmacist in Alabama and Georgia and has also completed the APHA Immunization Certification Program. She is an active member at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church where she enjoys teaching children's Sunday School and being a member of Bible study groups.
Outside of work and church, Dr. Birdwell is active with the Cub Scout Organization as a den leader, her sons' sporting activities, and volunteers on a regular basis at her sons' schools. She lives in Alpharetta with her three boys, Carter, Hunter, and Walker, and their dog Willie.
Joshua Breeden, PharmD
Dr. Breeden received his doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2014. While attending UGA, Dr. Breeden was a member of Phi Delta Chi fraternity and a part of UGA's ultimate frisbee program. He has focused his efforts in community pharmacy over the last six years. He currently lives in Tucker with his wife and son. They are active members of Briarlake Baptist Church and help lead small groups within the student ministry.
